Appointments, hours and arrival
Rio Grande Spa offers head spa and scalp-care treatments, back and foot treatments, foot-only treatments, hot stone services, facials, and combination spa packages. You can see everything on our full service menu.
25 Ann St, Store D, New York, NY 10038 — between Broadway and Nassau Street in Lower Manhattan. Fulton Center is a three-minute walk, and we are close to City Hall, the Oculus, the Seaport District and the Brooklyn Bridge.
Monday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. We are open every day of the week, including weekends and most holidays.
Appointments are recommended, especially for head spa services, longer treatments and weekend visits. You can request an appointment online or call us directly at (646) 558-9919.
Walk-ins may be accommodated when availability allows. Booking ahead is the best way to secure your preferred time and service — evenings and weekends fill up first.
Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your appointment. That gives you time to change, use the restroom and settle in so your treatment can start on schedule.
Please contact the spa directly as soon as you know. We will hold your slot where we can, but if the next appointment has already started, your treatment may need to be shortened to stay on schedule.
Services, lengths and what to expect
A head spa is a calming scalp-care ritual — not a haircut and not a medical treatment. Depending on the service, it may include scalp cleansing, hair washing, scalp massage, water circulation, steam therapy, neck and shoulder relaxation, herbal or premium scalp-care products, and drying or finishing care. The Classic Head Spa is a good introduction to scalp care. Herbal treatments feature botanical-inspired products. Japanese Premium treatments offer an elevated product experience with slower pacing. Carbonated Head Spa services are our premium scalp-care option, using specialized carbonated products and enhanced water circulation.
Treatment lengths range from 15 to 100 minutes, depending on the selected service. Back & Foot starts at 15 minutes; head spa and facial services start at 30 minutes; our Rio Special packages run 90 and 100 minutes.
Yes. Our Rio Special packages combine a 60-minute Back & Foot treatment with either a 40-minute Head Spa (100 minutes, $99) or a 30-minute Facial (90 minutes, $99). Any two services can also be booked back to back — just tell us at reception or note it when you book.
Wear comfortable clothing. Towels, blankets or treatment garments will be provided when necessary. For back and foot services you stay dressed in loose spa wear; for facials and head spa treatments you lie back fully covered.
Head spa services include drying and finishing care, so you leave comfortable rather than dripping. Longer treatments allow more finishing time — if you have somewhere to be afterwards, mention it when you arrive.
Complimentary hot stone therapy is included with selected Back & Foot services. Ask at reception which lengths qualify on the day of your visit.
Yes. We can accommodate 20+ people at a time, but please book ahead for groups of more than 5 people.
What you will pay
Yes. All listed prices are cash prices. Card payments may incur an additional fee. The price you see on our service menu is the price you pay in cash — there are no hidden service charges.
Gratuity is not included in the listed prices. It is appreciated but never required or expected.
Our menu prices are the same seven days a week. Service availability may vary, so call ahead if you have a specific treatment and time in mind.
